We created this "Did I Buy A Good Whiskey?" graphic late last year -- recently, it's gone somewhat viral within the greater whiskey community. Yes, it's snarky, because we have a serious beef with those who are buying up whiskey for some purpose other than drinking it. Fortunately, many of them seem so misguided that the insanity can't last... or can it?
Regardless of where you fall in the current whiskey craze, we say cheers to you and urge you to DRINK WHISKY! Why Don't We Post Many of These Little Articles Anymore?

We're not sure. It's probably because they're a small chore to write up. Sure, it's not that hard to do, but it still takes some time and decent thought, and nowadays if we write anything down it tends to just be notes and ratings. Almost 9 years into this website, we're happy with where we've come with it so far. But thanks for giving a shit and reading this far. We're still up to our usual shenanigans, trying to outdo ourselves and find new levels of whiskey nirvana.
Feel free to drop in and say hello. Cheers all. Drink whisky! Blind Black Bowmore

What happens when you put what's arguably the most legendary single malt into an otherwise unassuming, unhyped blind tasting? Pour yourself a glass of anything, and check out what happens when nobody knows they're tasting the famed Black Bowmore 1964 1st Edition. Sherry Christmas 2013

Sometimes we spend time working up a decent article for the site. Other times, it's a pain in the butt. This time it's the latter. In our typical holiday tradition, we opened up some great sherried malts malts for Christmas. |
