The nose has wine notes, maybe sherry. The palate has a stronger sherry influence with a syrupy mouthfeel. The sherry dissipates after the early notes and leaves a malt-dominated finish.
It's pretty hot on the tongue. Water brings out more sherry on the nose and a sweeter palate.
