Nose: sweet honey and liqueur notes with a malty background. Palate: Very sweet and syrupy with a good malty back note that develop into a malty finish.
Nice and drinkable, if a bit too sweet for my tastes.
I thought it had lots of very sweet white wine notes on the nose. Peaches and nectarines with tea on the palate and a light honey sweet finish. Nothing offensive about this malt but I struggled to finish the bottle.
n: golden plump raisins, doughy cinnamon rolls with thick white frosting. Sundried linens in summer. Vanilla and orange candle wax.
t: the vanilla and orange frosting sweetness is the main flavour. A lot of golden grape juice and ripe peaches, the cask finish has a lot of influence here. This is quite sweet and doesn't have a ton of complexity but it is quite tasty and nice for what it does. This is dense and sweet with just enough oak to round it out and deliver a little complexity. My second favourite in the series. [B/B+]
