Nose is honey, floral and sweet-smelling, with a tinge of... well, not quite farts, but something like it.  Some plain alcoholy scents as well.  Palate is very honey-sweet, with little else except a general alcohol-y background.  As the glass drains, there's very faint earthy and smokey notes as well.  In the finish, what was initially just kind of blah now approaches blechh.  The structure falls apart in alcohol-y, spiritous mishmash.

Even on the rocks, I can't drink much more than one glass.  I really think the initial sweetness is what makes people enjoy this whisky so much -- all the time never realizing that just because they're drinking straight booze, the aftertaste doesn't need to make them want to gag.  This is the whisky that taught me, when you go to a wedding, bring your own scotch... but hey, I've tried a lot worse.  C/C-

N: Cheap white wine and rubbing alcohol.   Ugh, that smell brings back bad memories of drinking from my parents liquor cabinet in high school.  Yea, that's right Dad, your taste in liquor sucked.
P: Oily, lemon, and...well, that's about it.
F: Finishes like gin or vodka, just burns with a kinda gross medical alcohol taste that in no way entices one back for more.
Perfect for disinfecting wounds.

Nose has floral, grassy and malty notes.  Palate starts very sweet which gives way to alcohol and some underlying malty notes.  Finish is mostly malty with a lingering corn syrup on the tongue.

Not bad for its category (the stuff you drink because it's all they have at the wedding/Bar Mitzvah/convention bar).

NOSE
Smoky, lightly fruity and the cloyinig caramel of young grain whisky. Not complex, better in a mixed drink, but possibly doable in a pinch.

PALATE
Stale smoke, some fruit, some citrus and more of that cloyinig caramel of young grain whisky.

FINISH

Smoke and watery caramel.
