Surprisingly malty, quite smooth, yet mouth-filling. Mildly sweet at the most. Dry caramel flavors, with woody spice. Drinking it at length leaves a rather tannic mouthfeel, but I like it. Definitely beats the 14-year. To note, this works best at the beginning of a night, it's the one to drink first. A-/B+
