Made from naturally farmed barley, but as the distillery itself doesn’t have the right certificates, the resulting whisky can’t officially be called organic. Hence green.
n: wet green grass, malty, freshly polished brass. Butter on burnt pancakes.
t: surprisingly sweet, citrus, dried pineapple, and fresh coconut. Loads of vanilla caramel and honey. Follows the nose with the wet grassy note. The copper note I usually gets is very subtle in the middle. Finishes warm and sweet with liquorice, burnt leather and light ash at the tail end.
An unusually floral and sweet Springer, this is interesting to try (bonus for uniqueness).
