I don't usually comment on the color but it looks like slightly diluted prune juice. Whatever it is was either heavily sherried or someone used a heavy hand with the e150. The nose is thick, rich, fruity, monstrous sherry with Concord grapes and canned pears. On the palate, sulfur dominates, though that sweet fruit is still kicking around back there. By the finish, it's quite dry with sherry and sulfur notes. In the end I feel like the nose promised a bit more than the palate delivered, but it's still really good. B+/A-.
