Obviously, this is really young. The nose is new makey with buttered popcorn. The palate is bold and peaty with a touch of sweetness, and all of that sweet peat carries into a nice, long finish. This is surprisingly good considering its age. It could easily pass for a Kilchoman or a young Ardbeg. It still has a lot of new make notes, but it's got a lot going for it. It's good now, but it has huge potential. I hope someone holds onto a few casks of it, because I'd love to try it in 10 or 20 years.

n: Butterscotch and toffee. Dessert!

p: Tar and rubber pie. Yum. Peat and sweet. Very nice. Finish is a little hot, like a chili flavored lollipop.

As challenging as this sounds, for someone that likes peat this will go down easily. (perhaps too!)

Fuji

Heavy new make and new spirit notes. Wet dough, yeast and wine. Harsh and abrasive on the palate. Sourdough and malt. Peat on the short finish.

N: Floral, yet buttery. A nice essence.

P: (With water) Really buttery, delicious mouthfeel. Big peated kick.

F: Peat mellows out but lingers nicely for a long while.

This stuff is just okay without water, but watering down the new make out of it elevates it to a level better than okay.

N: Tequila, White Chocolate.

P: Caramel, Tabasco, Peat.

F: It's hot but hits some nice spicy notes. Peat, Wasabi, & Smoke. At this ABV, it's good stuff. I need to try with a little water.
