Palate: Massive wood notes, like licking the inside of the barrel, some burnt caramel, some wood spice.
Finish: Chewy wood.
Many would consider this over oaked, but I'm a wood fiend, so I like it, though it's so heavy on the wood that it pretty much covers up most of the rye characteristics. I wouldn't put it in the same league with some of it's contemporaries (Rathskeller or LeNell's) but it's tasty nonetheless.
