Very dark amber color. The nose is peaty and has hints of smoked currant and oak. The palate is absolutely wonderful and balanced: spiced oak, vanilla, and burnt sugar. Very rich flavor profile and very good medium finish. I wish I had purchased more bottles than I did. [2/13/13]
n: thin wood varnish, peat smoke, salty potato chips, and old library books.
t: rich oaky wood varnish with a good amount of peat smoke and a nice topping of sherry sweetness. Savoury blend of caramel, smoke, and red berry jam in the finish. Antique sherry wood.
