Match sticks, salami, buttery and peat on the nose. Palate gets sweeter with toffee and honey. Smokey briney finish.
The high peat content really made this tasty. I tasted this against the pre 2009 bottle which has Lagavulin and this one won out. Good thing because these dumpy bottles are easier to find. No methyl mercaptan here!
