N: Piney, soft peat; lightly sweet.

P: Woody up front. Lightly rubbery; white pepper, light hint of malt and white nectarine.

F: Lightly smoky & piney, light mint and/or menthol.

Nice and light Caol Ila. The slightly minty finish was really nice. 

Nose:  Soft peat fumes and fruit juice.

Palate:  Sweet peat, but subtle enough to detect a malty background.

Finish:  Peaty, malty, a bit peppery.

One of the few peated malts that has clear malty notes as well.  Nicely done.

N: This has lots of distillery character and screamed coal ila. Preserved fish and shellfish lead briney yet oily onslaught. There's a chalkiness to this reminiscent of cutting into dry wall. Faint notes of dry grass and wood can be found once you adjust to the brine and peat.

P: Starts off smoky and ashy with a good dose of citrus. The dark tarry notes continue with oily peat and star anise. This just makes me think of a diesel engine and motor oil.

F: Suprinsingly the finish peps up a bit with crisp peppermint.

B/B+

N: Peat, bicycle inner tube, some light BBQ notes.
P: Wow, this is very funky.   Quite dry and astringent.   Lots of iodine and Bactine.  

F:  Dry and long, layers of iodine. 

This one is an odd bird, but the overall result is still quite enjoyable.

n:  Sweet and nutty

p:  Peach, citrus, bit of salt.  Peppermint.

B/B+ 

N: Plums, fresh cut grapes

P: A little peat, but more sweet sherriness. Definitely also got the peppermint others were getting at the meeting. 

F: Long, confident.

It's nice, but it could be bolder and more complex.
