N: Lightly sweet and malty, smells young initially. Raw sugar; opens up to reveal more fruit and a little toffee.

P: Sharp somewhat dry wood which also tastes young. Light taste of leather. White pepper.

F: Woody, a little flash of cotton candy. Pleasantly sweet.

Not bad but somewhat young. The wood is a bit sharp, but the finish is pretty good.
Sku

Nose:  Tobacco, sherry, savory notes, great nose.

Palate:  Dry sherry, salty, tobacco and wood

Finish:  Dry sherry notes.

Great sipper and great for the price.

Fuji

N: Good dose of spice mixed in with lots of vegetation and sweet berries. Different types of wood: dry bamboo, eucalyptus and oak.

P: Pretty chewy for such a young expression. Its probably because this is a first fill sherry cask. Sherry notes are initially more tart and acidic (sour plums) with herbal and sweet blackberry jam notes revealing themselves later.

F: Dark chocolate and tobacco leaves

Chris

N: Nutty sherry, with a minty orange aspect, and quite some woos spice.

P: Orange custard style sherry, very nice, relatively dry which I like.
F: Chocolate, with a spicy sing at the end.   A very solid effort and a great deal.

Andy

n:  Nicely sherried

p:  Oak comes though.  Dark cherry.

Ries

n: raspberry Kool-Aid, dry wood, new pleather book cover with powdered sugar.

t: red kool aid, cherry chocolates with the sugary vanilla center. Initial blowpop candy sweetness turns to dry sanded wood. Finish is like breathing in hand-sanded cherry wood.
