N: This smells odd. Almost kind of ponzu (sour soy sauce) like or even vinegar. Charred wood comes through but again is quite different than what I'm used to. Maybe this is influence from japanese oak. Some spice hits at the tail end of this. I cant really decide if I like or dislike this nose. Its indifferent.
P: This is almost peaty at the start. Maybe its from the charred wood or from the musty earthy notes. Lighter floral and fruity aspects peek through.
F: Dry and astringent with flashes of waxiness and spice.
Very unique set of flavors with good balance. Nothing offensive here. I'm still trying to figure this one out and it left me scratching my head.
