N: Peaty - but there's something a little funky upfront that I can't put my finger on. Malty and sugary - moreso than the Feis Ile bottling from 2012. (Also 2 years younger, so...)

P:  Thick. Weighty, oily, peat but also sugary.

F: Smoky, peaty, and with a strange funk from the nose which seems nameless.

I don't know what the Lovecraftian funk was on the nose but I'm happy to stick with the 16 vs the 12y 2012.

Faint white-yellow color with a peat nose. After that it is a lot of peat and smoke with a nice long finish. Not complex. but a decent expression.[1/4/13]
Andy

Sweet and sour.  Delicate smoke.
