Nose:  Rich sherry, sweet smelling, maraschino cherries and cough syrup.

Palate:  Quite sweet with sherry, then ash toward the end developing into sulphur.

Finish:  Malt and sherry with light peat.

A good, well-balanced HP.  B+/A-

N: Spicy peppers, pencil shavings, with alot of nuttiness and faint sherry notes in the back

P: The sherry sweetness comes through here along with more crushed nuts and green grapes

F: Spiced with a bit of bitterness at the end

Tim

N: Light barbicide (oddly, not the first time I've gotten this off a Highland Park). Slightly sweet; light and effervescent.

P: Light, nice, effervescent but woody. I keep getting sherbety, cara cara orange notes mixed with white pepper.

F: Drying and peppery, lightly spicy.

This isn't like many Highland Parks I've had but it was a surprise favorite for me.

Chris

N: Pepper, opens up to some grassy notes, dusty.  Sharpie marker.
P: Strong punchy attack, mainly floral notes.  Very good and unusual.
F: Goes on to a slight medicinal note.  Dry.
Dan

Very light color. Deep citrus nose. Spicy hot earthy and woody (sea) mouth. Fades quickly. [3/20/12]

n: Molassas and caramel cubes

p:  Hot and grainy.  Woody cherries.  Decent.  B/B+
