Nose:  Light peat.
Palate:  Smoke, somewhat soapy/perfumey, wood and chocolate, light sherry, a bit of bitterness.
The peat in this is a bit unbalanced, which is typical when peat is added to traditionally nonpeated whiskies.

Smokey peat and some harsh (not so much in a good way) cinnamon.  Still has that odd choclatey note that was more subtle in the normal version.  Still, this gets a slight bump for the cask strength....I would buy this before the standard peated.

Raw.  Mouthful of earthy cinnamon.

n: sweet smoke, ash, chalk. Rich nose of graham cracker, white pepper, and malted rye.

t: cinnamon, vanilla cream, and roasted raspberry. Exotic fruit, earth, and oily smoke comes strong in the middle - pushing aside the sweet malt flavours. Hint of banana and mango with BBQ char and dry tobacco in finish. I enjoy the high ABV and intense flavour - finishes hot and raw.

note: these releases do vary quite a bit.

N: Ocean breeze that reminds me of a fisherman's village. Cinnamon red hots, iodine, bandaids, crushed mints, white peppercorn, with winey fruit notes behind it all.

P: Starts off with heavy peat then transitions to savory cinnamon and mint spice. Nice oily malt backbone holds it together. Ash and smoke on the medium length finish.
