Robert DeNiro being part-owner gave this place instant status they day it opened, and it has somewhat retained some of that status. Upscale northern Italian fare, done very fresh and and very right. Yes, Ago is very "LA," but those who tell you that you'll be met with attitude probably deserved it. Respect the place and act nice, and they'll return the favor.

For what Ago is -- upscale, expensive, Hollywood, etc. -- the whisky prices are actually quite fair.
