Nose of pinot grigio, vanilla, and cinnamon hints. The palate... well, I hate to sound un-creative, but coming off tasting the Cellar Collection just a few weeks ago, this tastes like a great, aged Glenlivet. Fits the profile very well. Strong oak is here, but it's good oak, balanced by tasty spice and background rolling fruits. The long, chewy finish is quite tannic, so if that's not your thing stay away from this, though I think what's here works very well. Rather reminiscent of the Glenlivet Cellar Collection 1964, and way cheaper.
