Nose of pepper, and I don't get much else. Palate is medium-sweet and full of vanilla and happy fruits, like apples and plums. Finish continues the theme at medium-long length, becoming slightly dry. It doesn't do a whole lot for me as an aficionado, yet the flavors here still strike me as "happy." Hey, whisky doesn't have to make sense. B/B-
