Nose is BBQ smoke, notably BBQ brisket, like the tasty places in Texas. Palate is huge smoke balanced with sweet, fruity stuff, vanilla, caramel apples.... yum! Finish is lengthy and continues the theme. This is a great Laphroaig, not as medicinal as some, and darn addictive.

A very nice Laphroaig. Almost a B+. There is a blunted musty peat with nutmeg that distinguishes it from Laphroaig's standard fare.
