I mean, this is a dark whisky. And the nose matches up: prunes, dates, figs... along with lentils and curry. Smells like a Moroccan restaurant. The palate is a flavor bomb of massive sherry and port-like flavors, berries, dried fruits, raisins, plums and the like (this is where the European folks would also add "Turkish Delights"), all very sweet and deep. Massive toffee stuff too. It's somewhat like Mac 18 + Mac Cask Strength with a cylinder of nitrous under the hood. Spices enter in the midpalate -- those Moroccan spices -- and mix in with the finish, joined with some minty pine notes. This is something you need to be in the mood for, but when you are, it'll hit the spot. Just make sure you're in the mood!
