Nose is rather sweet, like a bag of Halloween candy (with notable candy corn), peanut brittle, dust, and hay. The palate isn't nearly as sweet as the nose advertises, it's only mildly sweet, and there's not a ton going on here. Mainly a peanut nuttyness, and some toffee notes make me thing of peanut brittle again. Caramel. All kinda basic and bourbony, yet no so watery as to be too flat and indistinct. The finish approaches lengthy, and is a little drying, but the tails are shared with some spiritous edges. I think I'd enjoy this most on the rocks, and it certainly would do excellently as a mixer. For $20 it's hard to complain and fair priced. C+/B-
