Nose is very green and grassy, with the strong smell of inflatable beach balls (which I'm told is VCM, or Vinyl Chloride Monomer... trust me, this whisky smells like a new pair of water wings).  In the mouth -- bang!  A big rush of spice and organic stuff -- grass and hay and I'm-not-sure.  Finish is lengthy.  This is one of those full-bodied, full-strength, lowland-style whiskies (yeah I know it's not a lowland).  And I like it.  Seems like a good stimulating glass to have while watching a ball game.  B/B+
