Nose of wet dog... in a bad and big way. Yet the palate doesn't deliver that, which is a relief (although I've had good wet dog before... in a whisky I mean). In the mouth there's tons of oranges mostly, and whatever else is here is very ehhhh. Some soap too. Pepper enters in the finish. I'd heard this whisky trashed before, but it's not that bad. I'm just not sure that I'd ever really want it. Wait, I think I just trashed it.
Nose is plaster and wet paper. The palate is salt and vinegar chips. Not bad there. The finish is short and hot. Might be a good cheap drink with fish and chips, instead of a beer.
I was curious about this one because it seems to show up often at bars. When I asked about it the bar keep said he get's it free when he orders cases of specials from distributors....not a good sign ;-)
Well I see why....very plain and very....uninteresting. So little flavor I had a hard time finding anything to notice. The too clean malt/grass was there and the vanilla was in the background but so little of everything that I simply did not enjoy it and I don't want any more.
