Peat smoke and a little sugar. That's about all there is to this one. Seems like very little contribution from the cask, a little oak or vanilla would be a nice addition. A bit too fiery in the finish (yeah, it's 60% alcohol so that might be expected, but better whiskies are able to hide this from you). A few drops of water help with that and bring out the sweetness.
p: Earthy, orverripe peaches. Starts out ok, then the finish goes wonky. I'm reminded of nursery school rooms and all of the excesive disinfectants that came with a minute scent that never really covered the bad. Mind you, all of this is toned down because of the overwatering, but perhaps that's a good thing.
