This was aged in a bourbon hogshead. Whisky candy. The nose is orange blossom, light shoe leather (very light), and cookie dough. The nose adds more sugar, lemon drop candy. The alcohol is very strong and it does better with water. The finish is light, but lingers with licorice jelly bean flavors. There are better whiskies, but this is quite unique and really enjoyable. If you want a light dessert malt, this is a good one.
