Nose is fruity, with sweat (like workout sweat), some rubber wisps, plums, artificial blueberry, apricots, smoke wisps, and dust. Palate is kinda smooth and kinda oily, with lighter flavors of mixed fruits, and a perfect level of sweetness. It's a much less complex flavor than I'd expect from what the nose advertised, but still tasty. Very drinkable. Finish continues the theme at medium-length, with light spice, and the slightest trace of smoke in the tails. If this still existed at the original price, it would be a great all-purpose single malt.
N: Wow. Not at all the big peaty nose I expected, more lush with fruity red wine notes, apricots, pears, fruit cup in oil. Lovely nose. Gunpowder. A little sulfur. P: Very mild compared to other young Bowmores. A whole different style of medicinal, lots of iodine. Totally, totally unique. F: Dry, gamy, more iodine. Conflicted about this one. It has a lot of funky tastes and smells that appear in much older whiskey (and are usually good), but they aren't balanced out by anything.
