Nose has some unusual qualities for a Port Ellen (at least in my experience) -- floral notes, peaches, some nutty-something, and light smoke of course. Palate is quite fruity on entry, with peaches, nectarines, and plums. And delicious! The smoke is only present as background notes and hints. Finish is the least interesting part and continues the theme. This whisky is like a lightly-smoked fruit near-bomb. I would love a case! A-/B+
