Nose is light, with indistinct light smoke, and wisps of apples, pears, and peaches. The palate is light and fruity, lighty sweet (are you getting the idea that this is a lighter Port Ellen?) and the smoke isnt too intense. Spices are restrained and pleasant -- curry, cumin, chili -- entering in the midpalate. Finish is medium-long. An easy-drinker, there's nothing to celebrate here, but I very much enjoy drinking it.
Very peat restrained, light, and drinkable. Reminds me of an older Talisker. Has faint faint hints of peat, and a soft sweetness that hints of fruits of nuts, heavier on the nuts. The nose is light, fruity, and subdued.
