Definitely not where the sherry 12 is, except perhaps the smoothness of the palate. Has that farty sweet rotten egg smell but a hint of wintergreen balances it enough to keep it from being nasty. It works its stinky self out somehow, just as a stinky cheese manages to be somehow tasteworthy.
Spirity nose with nice oakiness and some classic Glendronach sherry notes. Not very big but pleasant. Raisins and Cherries and some butter crème in the background. Very sweet and easy drinking. A nice desert malt.
