Lightly sweet (toffee aspects) and fruity, with cider notes, and definite cinnamon with other light spice. This is a whisky that's a lighter, easy-drinker, but it achieves that without loss of depth. Yummm.
N: Lemon water, dilute black tea, honey covered biscuits and toffee. P: Very oily to start (olive oil) with citrus and a weird sour acidity that is chemical-y and industrial. F: Medium finish. Brown fruit mixed in with an awkward metallic bitterness.
This profile reminds me of the old dumpy cadenhead bottles.
p: Thin. Raisins and pear juice (like in a Capri Sun). Good, but so gentle you really have to be careful not to lose this one around stronger whiskies.
