Distillery mothballed in 2000. This whisky is long-gone and bottles rarely seen; the price quoted is from the one retailer we could find online who's still selling a bottle.
Nose is fruity, bright, and floral. Palate is sweet and tasty, malty, and kind of has a "pink" maybe-fruity aspect to it. Wheat toast and plain spice too. Medium-length finish continues the theme. Gets less interesting as the glass drains. Nothing to dance about, but it's inoffensive and agreeable.
N: Candy corn, orange, a little smoke, and a hint of Raki (a black licorice spirit I tried in Turkey last May). P: Relatively flat, slightly fruity. F: Fades sweet to dry with a dash of caramel, blechy.
