Nose is deep berries and dried fruits, oats, and hay. Palate is an unusual sort of spice, with mild sweetness, raisins and faint dried cherries. Long finish continues the theme, with the spice moving to the front in the tail end. This is kind of a two-note whisky, the first being a dried-fruit-oaty-sherry thing (yeah I know there's no sherry), and the second being interesting spice... yeah, interesting. Even still, as the glass drains, this one becomes a little tiresome to me. Worth a try, though. Let me know if you come up with a better descriptor for that spice.
