Nose of cider, cedar, grapes. Palate is light, mildly sweet, with some malt and shy spice. Finish is very long and dry, and the spice becomes much more prominent. On the whole, this is too tannic and rather plain, but kinda-enjoyable enough.
N; Almonds and caramel, some lavender. P: Round and sweet, smooth, citrusy, tastes kinda like a familiar blend. A bit watery though. [I later confirmed this is a component of Johnnie Black] F: Leaves a coating of spice and vanilla. Initially bland, it grows on me after a while. It's the finish, which really brings you back for more. Brings it up to C+.
