Nose of sherry, dried fruits, raisins, and hints of steak seasoning. On the palate, this is delicious. Quite sweet, rich, and deep with good sherry, spice, and toffee. Chewy and hearty. Long finish. This shares many similar characteristics with the Blacker Still. A sherry monster (at least, I think it's sherry) that could use more dimensions, but what's here is super-tasty. On a later retaste, The Duke mentioned gunpowder... that's a spot-on call, it permeates the whole experience. B+
Notes: Dry sherry with sulphur Palate: Big sherry notes with dried, candied fruit, chocolate and some floral notes. Full of flavor. Finish: Dry sherry.
