Bottler:

Aged for a minimum of 19 years in former Oloroso and Bourbon casks, then transferred into Madeira casks for the final two years of its maturation.

N: Poppin and fruity, all sorts of stuff going on and on.
P: Classic, uplifting, and very enjoyable.
F: Woo!
An excellent Irish whiskey.

N: Sour sherry - grapefruit, apples. Unremarkable.

P: Getting better...starts off a little sour again, but richer sherry notes of plums and allspice kick in, which is very welcoming.

F: The best parts of this last nice and long.

Although this was not a revelation, it's very drinkable. I like that it gets progressively better from the Nose to the Finish.

Retaste:

I find this kind of forgettable. I just don't get excited about it when I'm going for a glass in my cabinet. Soooo, it gets demoted to B-
