N: Honeycomb, caramel, sweet nectar. Butter. Custard. A little smoke. P: Wonderful mouth feel, just velvety. More honey, exotic floral notes, yum, yum, yum. F: Complex, waves of citrus. Silky. Stunning. The texture is perfection.
Nose is aromatic and fruity, vanilla, with citrus/lemons. Palate... oh yes. A great level of sweetness and, for the age, I'm not sure where the tannins went. Great fruits, and that Jolly Rancher watermelon thing in some of the first sips (it later disappears). Coconut hints, almonds. Buttery, "round," and mouth-filling, this isn't massively complex whisky, but is super-enjoyable and pretty great stuff. B+/A-
n: freshly cut grass, honey, toffee, and hint of dry wood smoke. Great nose, like a fancy smelling candle (nutmeg and vanilla bean).
t: follows nose, warm with a nice olive oil mouthfeel and high ABV strength for its age. Dried tobacco leaf and cinnamon dusted almonds. This has an enjoyable oily texture to this that I find unique. Waxy honeycomb finish that's full of flavour. [B+./A-]
