N: Light sherry with a little maple syrup, and some ripe fruit. P: Immediate taste is very peculiar, like stale tobacco, no actually I think its mold, yes moldy wood. F: Nasty taste lingers. Wow, something went very wrong with this.
Nose of honey mustard and rubbery sherry. Palate is rubbery (but in an okay way), with red and white wine notes, spice, and sherry. Water brings out sweeter notes and heightens the spice. Finishes with the spice in the forefront. A decent but not spectacular semi-rich sippin-scotch of the sherried-but-no-magic variety.
Citrus and paint thinner. This was disappointing in that not only is it bad, but it also doesn't differentiate itself from the cheaper dumpy Glenrothes bottlings. This was a lazy choice for an independent bottler
