Not a lot going on here. Some caramel and spice, with light oak and vanilla. The story for the name has something-or-other to do with rocks on Islay, and also with the idea that Jim McEwan says this one is okay to drink on the rocks... well, I'd recommend it that way. Nose is sweet, perfumy, and fruity. Palate is as the nose suggested and nice! Full and present. Finish picks up the pace and fades with tasty spice. B (2010 as pictured, Guigal Cask)
