Some fruit and smoke, pleasant. Palate is medium-bodied with honey, fruit and notes of hazelnuts, then smoke enters and takes over in a major way, taking over the finish in a great rush of peaty goodness and pepper that sticks for quite a while. Semi-dry, just enough sweetness to be there. Minty and "Christmasy" tinges as well. Reminiscent of a typical Caol Ila in some ways. B/B+
