A nice malt for certain, but the moderate sulfur in the nose combined with a finish that's a little too cloying and sweet keeps this from getting above the B range. It doesn't really pull me back for more. I wish there were more complexity here, which is probably unfair to cricitize a Linkwood for, but nevertheless. Tasting with the group a lot of us thought this might be a PX cask, including me, it doesn't have the oloroso character I relate with such whiskies. Still good stuff.
