A blend of 50% 7 year-old and 50% 8 year-old barrels of whiskey distilled in Indiana from a bourbon mash bill, and aged in Kentucky in used bourbon barrels. The whiskey wasn’t charcoal or chill filtered, instead it was filtered through a coarse particulate filter to remove any charred oak sediments.
Unique sweet spice and heavy vanilla coffee creamer initially with quite a bite of alcohol. Green vegetal and oily middle - I like the deep oily mouthfeel but the margarine and flat peanuts are very in your face. Sweet- french toast and maple syrup. Green banana skin, raw peanut, and caramel finish. [B-/C+, batch 001, bottle #7576]
