Nose of some butterscotch, hints of banana candy, and pool water. Palate is fruity and peachy at first, though this doesn't sustain through the glass, and it grows overall uneventful though still fine and drinkable. Somewhat strange wood in the finish is a bit of a problem.
I should also add that of the many actual Prohibition-era bourbons I've had, this doesn't really seem reminiscent of any of them.
