26 years old. 1990 is the first release in Glenmorangie's Bond House No.1 Collection, which will be a series of single-vintage whiskies. This has been aged in a combination of sherry and bourbon cask.
n: candied orange peel, rich toffee, pecans, and floral. Gingerbread with hard white frosting, brown sugar, beeswax.
t: sweet and buttery, with ripe golden fruit (dried pineapple, sultanas and apricots), and baked apple. Surprisingly, very little oak/wood in this. Sweetened green tea and hint of grassy mint in middle. Vanilla and cocoa dust (fudge-like) in the long and enjoyable finish. [B+, lovely nose]
