This double-matured Lagavulin has had a finishing period in sweet, sticky Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Distilled in 1998, bottled in 2014.

Light dried red berries, clove, and vanilla custard. Paper smoke and black peppercorn with grilled pineapple. Dry (tannic) with controlled earthy peat. Sherry cask influence of honey and plum adds to the standard Lag profile with the iodine and driftwood char in the middle. Long smoky finish.
