The nose has great peat with sherry in the background which gradually moves to the fore; it comes together beautifully.
On the palate it's got peat up front with some light sherry notes on th edges. The finish is smoke and soil. It feels a bit weak for being cask strength (though it's only 51%), but otherwise, it's a very nice whisky.
