N: Big peat and smoke, kelp, seaweed, phenols... P: Surprisingly sugary, super peaty and medicinal, tastes like my grandfathers gargle! [Referred to as Giuseppe's Gargle, this concoction of water, iodine, phenol, and glycerin was forced upon me from a very early age.] F: Big and swarmy [That's what I wrote, no idea what it means] The sweetness makes it tolerable, but just too young.
A phenolic nose, smoky and medicinal, earthy, with vague ocean notes. Palate: ATTACK OF THE PEAT SMOKE. Really rich, with clove hints. The attack continues at length in the finish. This is too much for me -- personally, I can't drink much of it. You really have to be in the mood for this.
