Nose is a huge blast of peat, the oily, fuely kind. Palate starts sweet with peat and coastal type notes (sea breeze, sea air, etc.) but it sort of poops out in the middle and the late palate is a bit weak in flavor. The finish gets back some of the fuely notes that I liked from the nose. Strong start and finish, but a bit weak on the mid to late palate.
