The nose is sweet with honey and some peanut notes, a pretty typical Beam nose. The palate begins with sweet caramel then turns dry with some nice oak notes. It's a decent bourbon, though it's hard to discern any particular impact from the oats.
Chewy honey candy and homemade peanut butter; starts sweet and deserty but finished with an abundance of oak. Oats add some soft vanilla frosting to the body. Chemical toffee flavoring is the overall flavor. Oak is rounded and not forward. Overall decent but quirky.
